Goldie, was manufactured in April of 2006, has a single-engine, four-seats (one crew seat and three passenger), and is classified as a light utility helicopter produced by the US-American manufacturer Robinson Helicopter Company. The Robinson R-44 models of helicopters have been in production since 1977, featuring an advanced airframe and rotor system with a high degree of redundancy to achieve rugged reliability. These helicopter models are high performing, reliable, and easy to maintain.

With a gross weight of 2,500 pounds (1,500 when empty), a length of 38′ 4”, and a height of 10′ 9″, Goldie is pretty big, but she can still maintain a maximum airspeed of 150 mph. She has hydraulically boosted controls to eliminate cyclic and collective feedback forces while providing responsive handling.
